As everyone sat around the table they had some great conversations about farm labor, ethical consumption, and how to better support farm labor justice that they wanted to share. Today, after his passing, United Farm Workers continues to fight so that all may recognize the importance and dignity of farm work. He is always present in everything that he did for us as farm workers. Today, I’d also like to thank all of the members for their work, like our leader Teresa Romero, who has been an example and who continues to fight for us. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I know that the way is long, but we have what we aim for in front of us. Nothing will stop us. Today, we’re stronger than ever. And we will continue fighting with all our hearts. He spent most of the day bent over pulling the brush out from underneath.
