Dozens of Meetings Scheduled to Discuss Immigration Reform Statewide
UFW Foundation Participates in Night of 1000 Conversations

What:   UFW and UFW Foundation’s membership, staff, supporters and volunteers to participate in Night of 1,000 Conversations, a nationwide event designed to initiate dialogues regarding immigration reform and what changes need to happen to improve the lives of millions.

 Participants will host “conversations” in their homes regarding immigration reform and discuss ways to support legislation such as AgJobs.

When:  Thursday, April 5th, 2007 – Conversations held ALL DAY statewide

Who:   Arturo Rodriguez, UFW President
  Diana Tellefson, UFW Foundation Executive Director
  UFW/UFW Foundation members, staff, supporters, volunteers
  Farm Workers

Why:   The goal of the project is to influence members of Congress while they are at
home during spring recess about what needs to be done to improve our current immigration system.
