What:  As part of its efforts to ensure not another farm worker dies from heat exhaustion this summer, the UFW Foundation will be distributing water bottles and information to workers who labor in the sun.

Although California has heat regulations designed to protect farm workers, too often, those laws are not enforced.  UFW Foundation staff will be informing workers of their rights to paid breaks, cool water and provided shade while also distributing water.

When: July 25, 2007
3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Road 80 and Ave. 384
City of Dinuba (Tulare County)
(UFW will be at this intersection)
