A Cesar Chavez Day event held in Santa Ana over the weekend attracted residents and community groups from across Orange County.

A group of day care providers and athletes from TKO Youth Boxing Club in Santa Ana, for example, were recognized by local legislators – including Sen. Lou Correa and Assemblyman Jose Solorio.A range of organizations – from UC Irvine’s Jump Start program, to Anaheim’s Project SAY (Support Anaheim’s Youth) – were also represented during the annual event, which was held Saturday at Jerome Park.
