We want to wish everyone a great and joyful Thanksgiving spent with family and friends. As we gather this week to celebrate, let us also remember the men, women and children who harvest the food that graces our tables. Let us not only reflect on their sacrifice and commitment to us, but also urge our senators and representatives in Congress to make this a joyous year for farm workers and their families by enacting the historic, bipartisan AgJobs bill. By letting them earn legal status, AgJobs would allow farm workers to come out of the shadows and be a part of the American Dream. It would ensure the human beings to bring this great bounty of food to our Thanksgiving tables also have the opportunity to travel without molestation to be with their families and friends during the holidays.
