Latino recording stars join UFW get-out-the-vote rally for Gore & Salinas
Also at the 12:30 pm campaign event inside the Alisal High School gymnasium will be UFW Vice President Efrén Barajas, Monterey County Supervisor and 28th District Assembly candidate Simon Salinas and Salinas City Councilmembers Fernando Armenta and Roberto Ocampo.
Sunday’s rally is part of UFW get-out-the-vote effort targeting largely Latino precincts with a history of low turnout in Salinas, Watsonville, Greenfield and Soledad.
