Silicon Valley activists and tech donors are frustrated by the lack ofprogress from House leadership on immigration legislation

Los Altos Hills, CA — House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va, is scheduled to hold a high-dollar fundraiser in Silicon Valley tonight at the home of Oracle CFO, Safra Catz. Bay Area activists will picket as event guests arrive asking them to pressure Goodlatte to address House leadership’s continued stall on immigration reform despite public support for it. As House Judiciary Committee Chair, Goodlatte holds tremendous power in moving immigration reform forward – but isn’t taking any action.
