East Los Angeles voters will witness a last-minute appeal for Gray Davis from dozens of activists–including Hollywood celebrities and Latino labor and political leaders–forming a "human billboard" line Monday at Cesar Chavez and Rowan.

Among those waving Davis for governor signs will be actors Ed Begley Jr. ("St. Elsewhere" & "Parenthood"), Jackie Guerra (Selina), Tony Plana ("Nixon" & "Zoot Suit") "Little Joe" Hernandez (from the group Little Joe y La Familia), United Farm Workers co-founder Dolores Huerta, Los Angeles County AFL-CIO Executive Secretary-Treasurer Miguel Contreras and state Sen. Hilda L. Solis (D-El Monte).
The human billboarders are part of an intense labor-organized drive to help turn out new-immigrant Latino voters in three Eastside Assembly districts. It is sponsored by the United Farm Workers, Hotel and Restaurant Employees, Service Employees International Union and the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO.
