The festival begins at 1 p.m. in the Canyon Theater of the main library, 1000 Canyon Blvd.

Paul Chavez is a volunteer for the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation, which sends him to speak at schools, unions and community organizations. In addition to the speech, the afternoon’s events will include storytelling, songs, poetry and a discussion panel.
