It is sad that most farm workers will not be honored or recognized this Labor Day. With the exception of workers under union contract, most farm workers will either be working on Labor Day without receiving any additional pay or if they are not working, they will not get any holiday compensation. At the same time, the rest of America will be enjoying the fruits of their labor. I dream of the day when more farm workers can also celebrate Labor Day with their families and friends, and get compensated for their hard work and sacrifice they make every day.
