An organization in Nevada calling itself "Latinos for Reform" is airing 90-second television ads in English and Spanish urging Latino voters not vote as a way of punishing Democrats for betraying Latinos on immigration reform. This group is headed by political appointees of and big contributors to President George W. Bush and the Republican National Committee. The ads feature photos of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and prominent African American Democrats. The only betrayal is when Latino Republicans urge their own people not to vote in a cynical scheme to aid a Tea Party-dominated Republican Party that has turned immigrant bashing and bigotry against Latinos into an art form. Don’t fall for their tricks. Make sure you go out and vote!
