What:             California ‘s Broken Promises: The Laws On The Books Are Not The Laws

In The Fields truly introduces its readers to the farm worker voice. The book is the first the union has produced in more than two decades. The 48-page photojournalism book provides a glimpse into the daily life of farm workers through personal narratives and dramatic black and white photography.

The UFW, Cesar E. Chavez Foundation and the Museum of Tolerance are hosting an evening of celebration as the statewide book project is officially introduced to the public.
