FARM WORKERS, LABOR UNION MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF CESAR CHAVEZ

Hundreds of farm workers, labor union members and community leaders will join the Chavez family to celebrate the legacy of the late Cesar E. Chavez, a life-long Catholic and founder of the United Farm Workers, Sunday, April 18, at the 12:30 P.M. Spanish Mass, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, 555 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles.

The annual Mass celebrates Chavez’s commitment to the struggle for justice and dignity for all low-wage workers. Cardinal Roger Mahony will be the principal celebrant of the Mass. Arturo Rodriguez, President of the United Farm Workers of America, will speak at the end of Mass.
