     Farm workers and other Latinos by the hundreds will car caravan on Monday afternoon from Delano for a rally in Bakersfield to get out the Latino vote for Vice President Al Gore, U.S. Rep. Cal Dooley and area Democratic legislative candidates.

     Headlining the rally will be UFW President Arturo Rodriguez, Assemblyman Dean Florez and other elected officials.

     The more than 50-car farm worker caravan sporting political signs and UFW flags will take off from the union’s "Forty Acres" compound in Delano at 5 p.m. It is set to arrive by 6 p.m. at the Carpenters Union Hall in Bakersfield for an election eve dinner and rally to spur turnout among Kern County Latinos.
