RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) — Both Washoe County Commission and City of Reno have proclaimed March 31, 2013 as Cesar Chavez Day, in honor of civil rights icon Cesar Estrada Chavez.

A community-wide “Nevada Cesar Chavez Day Multi-faith Service” will be held at UNR on March 31 afternoon.
