It’s Cesar Chavez Day tomorrow, and that means free carne asada and chicken tacos, flamenco dancers and plenty of live entertainment at Pacific Community Center.

The city of Glendale will be hosting its 11th annual celebration, including live performances from Marachi Fiesta de Jalisco, Alex La Torre and Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca, along with a guest appearance by Palmira Perez, a news anchor on KWHY Channel 22.

The free grub will be offered from 1 to 2:30 p.m. only, or until supplies run out, according to the city. The event runs until 4 p.m. at the center, 501 S. Pacific Ave.

There will also be a chance to win two youth bicycles.
