4th annual Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Breakfast will feature a speech by Chris Hartmire, who worked alongside Chavez for years.
Hartmire will share his reflections on his 27 years working side by side with Chavez as a member of the California Migrant Ministry from 1962 to 1971, the National Farmworker Ministry from 1971 to 1981, and as a UFW insider from 1981 to 1989.
The breakfast is set for Friday, March 29, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Riverside Marriott Hotel, 3400 Market St., Riverside. Pre-sale tickets are $20 per person, $30 at the door.
