Film Screening, Roundtable set for Cesar Chavez Holiday Event

TEMPE, Ariz. – An exhibition tour, film screening and roundtable discussion celebrating the legacy of Cesar Chavez is scheduled 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Tempe City Council Chambers and City Hall Gallery, 31 E. Fifth St.� Admission is free.
Guests will have access to a guided tour of "Art with a Cause," an exhibition featuring posters from the Royal Chicano Air Force that announced dances, strikes, boycotts and traditional ceremonies in support of Chavez and the United Farm Workers, the saga of Chavez in Arizona and samples from contemporary, local Hispanic printmakers.
Additionally, sponsors will show "Cesar E. Chavez: American Hero," a short, narrated film depicting some of the avenues where Chavez’ legacy continues.
The evening will end with "Cesar Chavez: Lasting Inspiration," a roundtable discussion moderated by Rory Gilbert. Among the panelists are:
