Celebrate Chavez

William Mitchell College of Law invites the public to join students, faculty, and staff at the Fifth Annual Cesar Chavez Dinner from 6 to 8 pm Friday, March 30 in the William Mitchell Auditorium.

The free event celebrates the life of influential labor leader and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez, who died in 1993 after many decades of activism.

Patricia Torres Ray, Minnesota’s first Hispanic state senator, will share the story of her journey from a small city in Columbia to the United States to the Minnesota Capitol.

The dinner is presented by the Latino/a Law Students Association and Office of Multicultural Affairs. It is free for Mitchell students, faculty, staff, and the public.
