Durante uno de los eventos llevaran un ataúd con flores para indicar que si no hay una reforma migratoria esto tendrá como resultado la muerte del partido republicano.

Después de una celebración religiosa con representantes de diferentes religiones se llevar a cabo una marcha hacia la cárcel en el centro de la ciudad donde se encuentra detenidos algunos inmigrantes, seguido por reuniones con líderes políticos y la cámara de comercio, incluyendo líderes de negocios latinos.

Reporte desde Houston Texas con Teodoro Aguiluz, Director Ejectivo del Centro de Recursos Centroamericanos (CRECEN). El Senor Aguiluz indico que marcharon desde el City Hall de la Ciudad de Houston hasta el edificio federal Micky Lellan y de regreso al City Hall para una reunión con figuras políticas como la congresista Sheila Jackson Lee, la Alcaldeza de Houston, Annise Parker, lideres comunitarios y la comunidad. Tambien se reporto que participaran en una serie de actividades en Washington DC para apoyar la Reforma Migratoria.

Mr. Aguiluz indicated that they were going to march from City of Houston City Hall towards Federal Building Micky Lellan then back to City Hall for a gathering with political figures such as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, City of Houston Mayor Anisse Parker, community organization leaders and the community. Mr. Aguiluz reported that they will also participate in Washington DC in a series of activities supporting an Immigration Reform.

Lauro Barajas, organizador de la Union de Campesinos reporto desde Salinas California. El Sr. Barajas indico que en 3 exitosos días lograron hablar con miles de campesinos logrando la firma de 3000 tarjetas pidiendo al congresista Kevin MCCarthy apoyo en la reforma migratoria.

El ultimo reporte fue desde Oxnard California. Roman Pinal y Marcos Valencia, organizadores de la Union de Campesinos reportaron que ellos visitaron unos 25 de los mas grandes ranchos del area de Ventura y notaron mucho apoyo a las tarjetas de petición para el congresista Kevin McCarthy pidiendo su apoyo a la reforma migratoria. El Sr. Ventura dijo que esperaban que todos los radio escuchas de La Campesina se unan en esta causa.

Last report from Oxanrd California. Roman Pinal and Marcos Valencia, UFW organizers reported that they visited about 25 ranches in Ventura Area and they noticed a lot of support. He said many signed the petitions to Kevin McCarthy for his support on immigration reform. Mr. Valencia said he hoped all Campesina listeners give support to this cause.
